3. Commonwealth Department of Climate Change

Commonwealth Department of Climate Change was established to address the issue of reducing Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions, adapting to the impacts of climate change that cannot be avoided and assist in shaping a global solution.

4. CSIRO Land and Water

5. Environment Protection and Heritage Council (EPHC)

Environment Protection and Heritage Council (EPHC) was established by the Council of Australian Governments and addresses broad national policy issues relating to environmental protection, particularly in regard to air, water, and waste matters. The EPHC also addresses natural, Indigenous and historic heritage issues.

6. National Water Commission

National Water Commission is responsible for driving progress towards the sustainable management and use of Australia's water resources under our blueprint for water reform - the National Water Initiative.    

7. The Australian Bureau of Meteorology

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology is the National Meteorological Authority for Australia and its role is to observe and understand Australian weather and climate and provide meteorological, hydrological and oceanographic services in support of Australia's national needs and international obligations.
