Diploma of Sustainability

17-Oct-2011

Try half the Diploma of Sustainability for $90 with Metro South TAFE

For a limited time only, The State Government is offering funding to encourage Queenslanders to study sustainability.

The Diploma of Sustainability offered through the Enterprise Workforce Solutions team at Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE can provide you with the knowledge to understand and implement sustainable business initiatives across economic, social and environmental practices.

Until December 2011, all eligible Diploma participants can study the first two units of the Diploma of Sustainability online for only $90.

There are a total of four (4) Diploma units which usually cost $440 each, however until December 2011 the cost for the first two units is down to $90 in total. This provides you with the opportunity to try the program before committing to the total course. You will be provided mentoring and support throughout all of the units of competency. The Diploma of Sustainability is designed to be completed by individuals currently undertaking, or having completed, a Diploma or Higher Education.

Due to demand the October intake is now full and closed and another intake is on the cards for late November 2011.

To enrol: contact us via enterpriseworkforcesolutions.msit@deta.qld.gov.au or call 1300 780 368 and ask for our course coordinator Peter Maddock.

Diploma of Sustainability Units

  1. Apply the concepts of sustainability to a major challenge (completely funded until 31/12/2011)
  2. Develop and implement a program to support behavioural change and sustainable practices ($90 until 31/12/2011)
  3. Develop a business plan for responsive and sustainable businesses ($440)

*Please note: This offer is only available to Queensland residents and due to the funding arrangements is not available to government employees. If you don’t have a Diploma and are currently working contact to discuss options for undertaking another Diploma through the RPL process.
